My research is fundamentally interdisciplinary in nature. Recent projects include delineating effects of intrinsic religiosity on risky health behaviors; effects of self-assessed health on risk preference; effect of health on political preference; financial sustainability of health facilities in developing countries; memory consumption and economic behaviors. I use qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the interaction between individuals' life-style choices and health care systems.
